I'm not sure which model of C Crane radio a friend has, but it is a pocket 
sized AM/FM radio.
It sounds good, but the only drawback is the cover for the battery 
compartment.  Due to it being situated near the belt clip, it was kind of 
difficult removing it.
I've seen other C Crane radios and none of them had battery compartment 
covers situated like this one.  Most were your standard slide-off kind.
And, the belt clip is made to stay affixed.  There are 2 screws holding it 
on.
Just thought I share that.  Hopefully, if you do choose to get one of their 
radios, you won't have any troubles with changing the batteries.
