I believe that this is what my vets refer to as the obamaphone. If you
receive Medicaid benefits or food stamps you can get an Android smart
phone for free with unlimited talk and text, features such as caller ID
and voicemail, and 500 MB of data. I know that in CA there are at least
two carriers offering this. One is called Safelink and I believe the
other is called Assurance mobile.

For those in California, you can get the Oden Mobile phone for free.
That makes it a good deal in anyone's book.
