Sendero has a map program for the PC. You can buy just the maps, or you
can also buy a version that is designed for people who want to use a
small Windows notebook PC as their mobile GPS device.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [Electronics-Talk] Route planning software or app

I have been using the Sendero GPS app on my BrailleNote for route
planning when I visit a new place. My BrailleNote is dead, and my new
notetaker will not have GPS.
Can people recommend software or an app that can be used to plan routes
beforehand, when I'm not anywhere near the place I'm looking at? I'd
like one that not only shows me streets, but also shows nearby points of
interest when I enter an address.
Thanks.
Tracy
