Hello Brian and everyone,
Thanks. I'll be sure to use that ssearch. Should I find a GPS
luggage finder I'll know if our bags are headed to Tuktoyaktuk instead of
San Marcos Texas for example. Fortunately San Marcos is close enough to
where taking a cab from San Antonio makes good sense eliminating the
problem. Delta Air Lines did a gbetter job keeping track of Mary's luggage
when she visited her family earlier this month than Greyhound did when I
traveled to North Carolina. All the best.

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] Smart Luggage Finder
Good morning everyone,
I recently lost a checked bag courtesy of Greyhound when I traveled to
Winston Salem North Carolina last month. They've had a tracer on it for over
a month and I have not heard from them. I looked at luggage finders and want
to find what I'll call a "Smart Luggage Finder" capable of communicating
with a mobile device and that would report the exact location of your bag so
you will know if your checked bag was placed on your bus, train, or plane
so you will know that your bag is traveling on the same vehicle as you and
if it's lost you'll know exactly where it is headed so it can be easily
located and it's destination corrected by the transportation provider. The
next time we travel we'll be sure to buy travel insurance to among other
things give the transportation provider a strong incentive to insure our
checked bags travel with us and so they can avoid paying out hefty insurance
claims. If anyone knows of a luggage locator with the capabilities mentioned
above I'd like to know where to get it. All the best.
