And, one of the nice things about buying from QVC is you can send things back simply because you don't like something.

Also, the Lock 'N Lock are big enough to put a full cup measuring cup in. Did I say they are BPA free. (Just in case that is why you're getting away from plastic).

Unfortunately, Brett, I went by not only the descriptions, but reviews galore, and didn’t find anything to my satisfaction. I even went to America’s Test Kitchen, and one I seriously considered, they nixed only because it was too narrow to dip a measuring cup into comfortably (and I’m a big one for doing that; I was excited, however, that a whole crew of sighted people had, as a matter of course, taken to doing what we’ve done for years). A lot of the reviews I read for different products said that either you needed a plastic bag to line the product , it was flimsy, it developed minute holes in the plastic (ironically, Oxo, who I usually like, had that critique), or they were awkward to use because they were narrow. Then there were ones that were either plastic (which I’m trying to get away from), or glass (too heavy, and what happens on the day I have “the drops”)! So, just to give everyone an idea why I didn’t go in favor of any I saw on Amazon, there you have it!

Maybe when I’ve saved some pennies—AFTER I get my canisters), I’ll go to EBay or somewhere for the Sharp. I’ve never lived with one, but when I’ve seen them, I was impressed. Thanks!
