[Electronics-Talk] Cable accessibility

I guess since they don't offer accessible cable boxes, they don't feel they
need to teach their customer service operators sensitivity training. A long
time ago, I actually had a cable customer service rep say "Why do you have
or need TV if you can't see it."

Time Warner's customer service agents are so dumb that the last time I asked
one of them when they would be offering accessible cable boxes to their
blind customers, he thought I was asking him where the elevator was located
in their headquarters building in Queens.  I kid you not.

That makes sense, Gerald.  Just like companies that sell products for the
blind and visually-impaired only sending printed instructions for the item.
