LOL. My fiancé & I thought the same thing. That is why she got it. Tell me,
is there a way to change the ringer? Can this be done by someone like me who
is totally blind?

I know, I think I have the same phone. I bought it from Amazon. The
description mentioned caller ID, but didn't specifically say that it talked.
Because I used to have a Panasonic phone with talking caller ID I just
assumed that this one did. Guess you know what happens when you assume.

You would think that someone would come up with a landline phone that would
talk inableing us to set everything up. I have a Panasonic phone where the
ringer is so soft that I can hardly hear it. No, I'm not hard of hearing.

We sure can.

On a real note, where can I find the Verizon digital line/FiOS codes, e.g.
the code for blocking callers who have no ID. Thanks.--Matthew Chao
