Oh, I mean I have discharged the battery while using it until it says power
off. That is what I meant when I said I had done it a lot of times. But I
don't leave it sitting there for ages without plugging it in. Sorry I
misread that. Pam.

Yes, this is true of all lithium ion batteries. If you're going to store
a lithium ion battery for any length of time, you want to top off the
charge and store it in a place that doesn't get too hot.
