I bought the 6 dot labeler earlier in the year.  The only problem I had was that there was some problem with an internal spring that caused the tape to jam.  I hope that doesn’t happen again.  I’ve found that you have to type each character, wait for all the dots to be Brailled, then go on to the next letter or character.  

I make loads of labels and have very little muscle in my left hand, so have trouble using the slate now.  I like the labeler and will stick with it.  A coupleofus have a drugstore who uses a plastic Braille labeler to make medicine labels for blind customers.  We wish enough of us couldd go in one of these labelers for the druggist.  It is wonderful having the labels custom made for our meds.
