[Electronics-Talk] Accessible Stove

Hi Dave,

I make my own labels with clear dymo tape. I then get sighted assistance to
put them on.

Be sure that the touch panel is not dynamic. This means that you want one
that is like a microwave touch panel where each button only has one purpose.
On a dynamic display, the screen is constantly changing depending on what
you previously touched.

Before applying your labels, or any provided by the manufacturer, be sure to
clean and dry the touch panel well.

HTH,
Annette

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] Accessible Stove

Here is a real novelty -- an accessible appliance question. I am in the
market for a new stove. Does anyone have knowledge as to who might have
Braille overlays for the oven controls. In the less expensive stoves, there
are knobs for burners, but oven controls tend to be a flat panel.
