Just to give everyone a little better idea of what I’m looking for: although you could do some things with Gusto, what I didn’t like about that was how, when you texted, it involved more steps than using a keyboard. I didn’t like the tedium! I will investigate the other phone that was mentioned, though, and see if it gets closer to what I want. I do want to be able to go online efficiently, so that may preclude my getting a simple phone, unless, as I’m hoping, there is a smartphone for a picky person like me. RNIB had one I would have liked, but, of course, it wouldn’t have worked in the States; OM had one similar to that, but it was discontinued before I knew about it. It had a simpler interface and some tactile features, and was, indeed, a smartphone, so it would have been perfect for me...
