Sandra, Between the t199 and the gusto 3 you really can't do too much with
going on the internet. In some ways I found it a little easier with the
gusto to go on the internet, but neither phone would be quite like going on
the internet with a computer or smart phone. I know there's some phones that
have both the touch screen and a keyboard included in the phone. That is
something I think I might like to try, because there could be times when I'm
out that I might want to look something up on the internet. I don't remember
the model of phone that I got to see in one of the stores that had the touch
screen and keyboard. Now that I think about it I know there was a display on
the phone as usual but I'm not sure if it was a touch screen. I think it was
an a t and t phone. It didn't have speech built into it as the t-199 and the
gusto does, but if these model phones are considered smart phones they may
be some type of android phone, so there would be speech in the phone. I have
the modo g as a prepaid, which is an android, but as I said I haven't been
able to get the knack of it. While I'm happy with the amount of things I
could do with the 2 phones I have, I was really hoping I could get use to
the touch screen because it would be great to have some of those special
apps that come along with the smart phones, such as scanning and going on
the inter net. That's why I'm thinking I might like to try one of these
phones that have the keyboard included in the phone. In some ways you may
not be that impressed with the t199 since it's so very simular to what the
gusto can do, and also going by what you're looking for in a phone. All you
can do is try it out.
