[Electronics-Talk] Evaluating bar code scanner apps

Brad,

As I recall, it continuously processes images looking for the bar code as
one moves the box around. I don't believe one has to activate anything each
time one wants to lookfor a bar code. It works similarly to the Money
Reader as I recall.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

Steve:

Thanks for the info. I am thinking that if the app requires that you
snap a still image each time you want to target the bar code, and then
find out that there was no visible bar code, the process is very
inefficient. As contrasted with allowing you to move the item
systematically, giving the app time to acquire the bar code when it is
visible to the camera.

Best,

Brad
