[Electronics-Talk] accessible verizon flip phone

Hi,

Verizon does not do contracts any more. Cellphone companies are
doing away with contracts. You'll have to contact Verizon about
what that phone costs. I have an LG with Verizon, which I have
had since 2011, so I can't comment further on this topic.

Ashley, There's an accessible flip phone for verizon I'm going to
tell you
about, though the lg 450 is a flip phone that runs on either
t-mobile and
family mobile that's on t-mobile. The accessible flip phone that
runs on
verizon is the gusto III made by samsung.. All the menues talk,
you could
write in your contacts, write text messages, go into settings,
note things
in the notepad area, calculator, set ringtones easily and more.
I have the
gusto III with verizon as a prepaid which at Walmart costs
$12.88. I have
some friends that have the gusto III on a verizon contract plan
and the
gusto III for the contract plans cost about $90. I know of a few
people that
are both on a contract plan with verizon that each needed a new
gusto III
and for some reason they couldn't get it, but that could just be
true for
certain parts of the country. So if you're on a contract plan
with verizon
see if you could get the gusto III on your plan. The unlimited
service with
the prepaid is $35. 2 things about the gusto III, when you close
the phone
it will tell you the time and date, and each time you open the
phone you'll
hear the voice of the activation voice for you to please say a
command,
which is no trouble, just press the end key when you open the
phone. The
phone, anyway to me, has a pleasant voice. If you have someone
assisting you
in one of the stores most of the sales associates know how to
turn the
speech on, but if you get one that isn't familiar what you want
is full read
out. My neighbor across the street was able to turn the speech
on, on one
of my gusto threes so it's not that hard to do. Along with all
that you have
caller id too. I really love this phone.

Worth It

is this lg phone a flip phone with buttons?
Do you know if it runs on the verizon network? I've always
wanted a more
accessible phone but I'd rather have a simple flip phone.
Since my phone only speaks incoming calls, I cannot read texts
that come
 in and that is important.

Marsha, On saturday I got the lg450, and it is a nice little
phone. I'm
 just
exploring the phone and getting use to it, which won't take
long. I like
 the
calculator in the phone. I tried sending a text message which I
was able
 to
write, but I couldn't seem to find the option to send the
message. I did
find the delivery options. I'm going to see if I could figure
it out. I
 got
the phone at walmart with family mobile. I also went on the
internet with
 it
for a while, where it had the news stories. I was just
wondering if you
 knew
the subscribing directions for the lg phone list. Thank you.

 HI
The model of the LG cell phone is LG450. It is a flip phone.
It is 3G
capable. It has Bluetooth connectivity. It is a straight phone
keypad.
It can do E-Mail, text messaging, and internet, I don't use this
feature.
Text to speech and voice commands. It's nothing fancy but a
nice little
phone. I know it works on T-Mobile and Family Mobile.
