[Electronics-Talk] accessible verizon flip phone

AT&T has gotten away from contracts as well, but if you still have a
contract, I think you can keep rolling along with it, but I'd encourage
anyone to look into whether it's still the most affordable option or not.

Although they don't do new contracts, you can still get a phone for no
money down. You just pay each month until the phone is paid off. Once
the phone is paid off, your monthly payments drop down to just cover
your plan. You can pay the phone off early if you want, such as if you
want to take a phone with you to another carrier.

In my case, I left my contract with AT&T, and since my iPhone 4S is
already paid for, I save quiet a bit each month. If I keep my next phone
as long as I kept my 4S, I'll save quite a bit of money each month after
my new phone is paid off, assuming I don't buy it out right from the get go.
