I notice the voice changed after the last update, too. It's still female,
but now it has an accent. It says Corn-gress instead of Congress, for
example.
There might be a voice setting under General, but I'm not sure.

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] iPhone Voice Is Different after Updating
Yesterday, I updated my iPhone 6. I had not updated for a
while, so I still had one of the 8 versions. Immediately after updating,
everything was fine. However, when I went into the app switcher to close
apps, the voice changed. I have looked through the different settings in
accessibility, but I cannot find a way to put it back. Is this the new
voice? If there is a way to put it back, how? I do not know exactly which
voice I had before; it was a female, English U.S. voice. If it is not
possible to fix the voice, is there a way to remove the update?
Thanks,
Nicole
