[Electronics-Talk] How do you carry it?

Hi,
  I have a small phone size bag that I wear around my neck.
  Looks like maybe this problem when solved could be a good thing for us 
all.

i carry my phone, bluetooth headset, and other small essentials in an Eddie
Bauer fanny pack, more of a belly pack because the pack itself rests on my
belly. I like this because the pack stays attached to me. Actually, the
phone and headset are in a little zippered pouch that came with my
Aftershokz bluetooth headset and it is just the right size to contain the
iPhone and headset.
This wouldn't work for a dress up situation, but now that I am retired, I
don't dress up anymore.

I prefer to carry my phone in a breast pocket when my shirts have them. I
have had the phone fall out though when bending over, which I do somewhat
regularly as I have a guide dog and sometimes find myself bending over to
take his harness off or on. I am more aware of this issue though so it is
less of a problem than it once was. I have not tried the leash solutions
that Annette mentions but they would seem workable for one who wants to use
the shirt pocket. The front pocket of my pants is usually my next choice and
many of my jackets has zipper or otherwise quite safe pockets. I am not so
worried about my phone being far away from me as I am dropping or leaving it
somewhere. I have been a big fan of belt clips and own one now. I have had
some of the clips break and some have worked loose from my belts. There is
also, perhaps, an image issue that they make one look less professional or
the like. At any rate. I have heard of the phone bending but am not
personally aware of anyone who actually has had that problem and mine is in
a shock proof case that I think would keep it from bending.

I currently have a Life Proof case which provides excellent protection when
dropped and exposed to moisture.  The down side of this case is that it does
not have a belt clip, and If you want to use headphones other than the Apple
Provided earbuds, you will need to use the provided "pigtail".  On a past
iPhone I used a Griffin Survivor.  The Griffin had a belt clip which also
doubled as a stand which was great for FaceTime calls.  The down side of the
Griffin was that it added bulk, but I do feel that it provided even more
protection than the Life Proof case.

I carry my iPhone in a back pants pocket or in the pocket of the
blazer/coat, if one exists.  Unfortunately, women's clothing is frequently
lacking pockets.  If I have to I will put it in my purse, but that is as
poor of a choice as putting it in a backpack or fanny pack.

There are "leashes" for phones.  They usually are made up of some type of
rubber straps that wrap around the corners of the phone.  Attached to that
is the leash with a clip on the end that can be attached to your clothing,
belt loop, etc.  If you used this while your phone was in your shirt pocket,
it would probably stop the phone from hitting the floor when it falls out of
your pocket.  Plus, you would not have to search for it when it fell out.

Where and how do you carry your iPhone?  Forget about backpacks, fannypacks,
etc.

Carrying my iPhone in my shirt pocket is a sure way to drop my phone if I
bend over.  And putting it in my pants pockets seems like a great place to
bend and break it.  So how do you guys do it?
