Lay off the peace pipe bud, Obama didn't exactly do us any favors!

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] The Future of Product Accessibility
Now that Donald Trump has been elected president, I wonder how this will
affect the future of product accessibility? Trump has publicly stated on
the record that he favors less government regulation. Does this mean that
he will push to repeal the Telecommunications Accessibility Act of 2010 that
mandates that TV sets and cable boxes be made accessible to blind consumers?
Will manufacturers be permitted to introduce ever more inaccessible
electronic products and appliances because Trumpand the Republican Congress
oppose governmental oversight and regulation? Trump has demonstrated his
disdain for the disabled by publicly mocking a disabled reporter without
apology. Do we blind consumers now face the prospect of taking a giant leap
backwards in terms of product accessibility? This is a really frightening
prospect. Who is going to protect our interests?
