[Electronics-Talk] Appliances Control With IPhone

It depends on what you're asking for.

The Insta pot and other "internet of things" appliances each have their own app, some like the insta-pot will be accessible, others will not. So, you could say they've just moved the accessibility problem from the base of the appliance to your phone.

A nice place for the market to get to, if you're a blind person, is an agreed upon wireless standard to be used to control all such devices. I am highly skeptical that this will happen. It isn't in anybody's interest but ours to make it happen.
