I have a set of nesting measuring cups for both dry and liquid measuring.
The liquid measuring cups have a indent for a spout, while the dry measuring
cups do not. In most cases the dry measuring cups are designed to have the
contents right up to the top rim. While the liquid measuring cups require
you to fill it only to a line a little below the top rim. This is to
prevent spilling of the liquids.

Dry measuring cups come in a set. Usually 1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/2 cup, and 1
Cup measures.
Liquid measuring cups are one container, with markings along the side to
indicate different measures, Often, they are 1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/2 cup, 2/3
cups, 3/4 cups, 1 cup, 2 cups, 3 cups, 1 quart.
