I would also like answers to this thread, since I would like to get a modern system with at least two sets of stereo speakers which play at the same time. This would make it nice to listen to in any room I visit in my small apartment. I guess the buttons on the stereo wouldn't be crucial, since hopefully it would have a physical remote plus an iPhone app that's accessible. Also please list general prices. I'd say I'm willing to spend $500, if that's reasonable. I don't want to get into the Sonos line of stuff, since my equipment is mostly analog like turntables and cd players.

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] help assessing the market for accessible stereo receiver

alas my old trusty pioneer receiver has reached end of life.

So, I am looking for suggestions on accessible hi fi gear.
Not in to home theater yet. But have an apple tv, and may get a blue ray player.
Still have an old zenith vhs hi fi vcr, and a real live cassette deck and turn table.

What is the sens of the group on accessiblel receeivers?
