Hey Mike,
This is not an issue with your iPhone 7. This is an issue with your
email provider.
You'll need an outbound mail server that handles relaying your email to other SMTP servers, generally via authenticated SMTP.
Usually, your home email provider can handle this, but not always.
I hope that gets you started.
