By the way: for your information, the vacuum is spelled r o o m b a, from
the word room. Not like the dance. I learned that a long time ago when
somebody did a podcast on it. Pam.

I seriously doubt the Rumba is accessible. We have a Neato, and it
certainly isn't. The good thing is that, at least in our case, we just run
the thing normally, so we just need to push a button. It can be tricky
finding it if it doesn't complete it's job, but usually the Neato will beep
every so often if it's in trouble, and that helps. Attaching a luggage
locator is a great idea.

My brother has one and loves it. He cannot remember the model. It is
programmable, but I do not know if he needed help programming it. I'm
assuming he did. He does have to empty the dirt catcher every day, but that
is to be expected as the dirt catcher is small. Given that the thing can
run every day, the size of the dirt catcher is reasonable.

The one problem my brother has had is when the Roomba gets stuck on
something. He has attached a suitcase locator to it and then has to go from
room to room to locate it. The suitcase locator is not the best solution as
adhering it to the Roomba took some creativity. He and his wife each have a
dog guide, and since they have been using the Roomba, there has been a
serious reduction in dog hair all over the place.

HTH,
Annette

Hi, I have had one in the past. The far past. But, the past.

The ones I had were not accessible but all you have to do is push a button.
That's it no big deal. But, it seemed like I was constantly cleaning the
brushes. I don't know if they're like that now. But they were sure like that
then.

I swore I would never get another one. But a friend of mine has like the top
model and she loves it.

like to hear people's experiences with the different models. I know the 630
is a basic model with no scheduling capability. However, Amazon has a sale
on the the 650 for $299, which isn't bad. Are you able to schedule cleanings
with this model? If so, is it accessible? Any feedback would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks.
