Keep in mind that a flat screen is not suitable for everyone.  Specialized 
products are fine if the price was more affordable.  I know a lot of blind 
and visually impaired people who have too much difficulty with the hand 
jestures necessary on the flat screens.  For many people the easy to find 
and feel buttons work much better for them.  I have seen the screen 
protectors with dots but they are so small and crowded together that my 
arthritic numb fingers cannot use them.  I know I am not the only person 
with this problem so I would love a smart phone with buttons.

I do not believe that a specialized product of this kind is necessary. The
iPhone is a mainstream product that already incorporates the features
mentioned. There are also accessories offered through 3rd party vendors such
as tactile screen protectors and even a remote control that add
accessibility for people who have special needs. I think that the time for
specialized products in this arena has long since passed.
