[Electronics-Talk] FW: Smartphone for visually impaired people

Hi,

No, I did not see that. However, just as with the sighted world, there are people with varying levels of income. I would certainly present the information about the availability to them. They can decide if they can afford it. Many of my clients in the past have asked family to give them money towards the purchase of a pricy product for Christmas, birthdays, etc. to help be able to afford it. And, as someone mentioned, a payment plan, technology loan, or some other funding source could work for them too. Personally, I would not put that kind of money out for a phone, but that is just me. The next person may not hesitate.

Shannon:

Did you see the price? Your seniors will not be able to afford it.

Thanks for this. I work with seniors age 55 and over. Many of them want a smart phone, but have trouble. I will check this out.
