Andy, that is a concern just like that oasis phone. I wonder if that other
company is still in business, that came out with accessible phones about 2
years ago. I can't think of the name of the company. Besides their model
feature phones they did have some android phones. This is probably a stupid
thing to bring up, but I hate when things are so sensationalized, and in
this case it's the name of one of the areas of the phone, I'm thinking it
is, but I could be wrong. Whatever it is the guy called it captain mobile.
It sounds like a name for a toy. I appreciate the idea, well more than the
idea, that this phone has both the buttons and touch screen. It's always
possible for some individuals that have only used button phones up to now,
if they got a phone such as this, having the phone mightget them interested
in learning the touch screen as well. Of course others would continue to use
the buttons, and for others that are confortable with both the buttons and
touch screen, they have the choice of using either one with their phone.
I've thought for a long time that it would be great to have a phone such as
this made with both the touch screen and buttons. it would be great if
samsung or nokia and some of the other companies would make a phone lie this
with the buttons and touch screen. Then there were the smart phones that had
the touch screen and the keyboards that you could slide out of the phone, if
you wanted to use the keyboard. Some of those very phones, one could use
the screen readers such as talks or mobile speaks with those phones.
The video about this phone left some questions, whether it has a card slot,
and more importantly can you update the operating system? What on board
sstorage does it have? Does it have a money back garuntee? Unfortunately he
didn't describe the size of the phone, for example if it's about the size of
other phones everyone knows of. Possibly the web page could answer some of
these questions, which I'm going to go too, to read more about it. It does
sound very interesting, but I too hope eventually that more of a well known
company such as samsung could produce a phone like this. If the answers to
these questions are yes, then it may be a competitively priced smart phone.
