[Electronics-Talk] TiVo and cable cards

Greetings:

This is a very complex and in my experience uncertain area. I
investigated getting an accessible Tivo box for an Armstrong Cable
customer in my area. While Armstrong uses Tivo, they tell me that the
particular one they use is not one which supports the accessibility
features. Like Pam,I have also heard that some cable provided Tivo boxes
do support the accessibility features.

If the cable company is providing the Tivo, I do not believe that you
would subscribe to the Tivo program guide service separately.
