Not sure how Acer's are these days.  I purchased one a few years ago and where my Dad worked at the time also purchased a few.  Neither mine nor the ones the Department of the Navy purchased lasted more than six months.

Hello:

I would like to know if anyone has used the Acer Chrome Book with Jaws and Open Book?  I ask because my nephew who works at a local electronics store tells me that they are on sale for around $289.  This would be less expensive than me trying to get my old desktop and laptop repaired.
