[Electronics-Talk] Red light

I forgot to say that before the light turns red, it's green, so I can't just
use the light detector to look for a light.

I have a rechargeable battery which I'm supposed to charge "until the red
light comes on."  Is there any way to tell about red lights on things?  I
would think not, but maybe someone has a technique?
