[Electronics-Talk] Accessible Toaster Ovens and Deep Freezers

Hi all,

I have a toaster oven and it really doesn't need much modification...at
least I don't think so. I put bump dots on the temperature dial and on the
timer. The dial in the middle, where I can set for toast, bake etc is very
easy to set...no bump dots required...it clicks. I would actually like it if
the temperature and timer dials clicked also, but they don't, so bump dots
are good enough. Perhaps a brand new one is different...I don't know I
bought mine used, but it works so it can't be that old....

I am also interested in finding out if there are any accessible toaster
ovens out there. My dad has a toaster oven, but it is completely unblind
friendly, and he even has trouble using his with how it is setup.

Eh, Peter, please don't take this the wrong way, but, why does a deep
freezer need to be accessible?
I mean, it's not like a refrigerator where you don't want it too be cold or
too warm.

I've never understood why freezers have thermostats. Unless there are ones
that gives one the option to freeze well below zero.
