[Electronics-Talk] Trump Appoints Anti-Regulation Net Neutrality Enemy to Head FCC

So you got your wish and are happy that Trump is president. But don't moan
and bitch about the lack of accessible appliances and electronic gadgets, a
situation that is not likely to improve under the new administration. Trump
has not demonstrated in any way, shape or form that he has any empathy for
disabled citizens, and I challenge anyone to offer a scintilla of evidence
that refutes this assertion.

Gerald

No one knows what will happen so this guessing is ridiculous. I'm happy
Trump is our president.

Trump white house website alterations. Accessibility and spanish lanauage
sections were removed on Inauguration day. Monday, January 22,
2017 the regulations section was removed too.

> As expected, President Trump has appointed Agit Pai, an opponent of
regulation and net neutrality to head the FCC. How this will affect the
future of the Telecommunications Accessibility Act of 2010 is unclear, but it
is probably not good news. If Mr. Pai believes that this law places undue
restrictions on cable companies and TV manufacturers, he will simply not
enforce it or else even move to repeal it. So for those of you who are
waiting for your cable company to offer accessible cable boxes, you may have
to keep waiting. And don?t expect TV manufacturers to flood the market with
accessible sets aside from the handful of models currently available.
