However, when people speak up based on mere speculation, when that
speculation isn't even close to the plan, it unfortunately really doesn't
make those people look too bright except within their little echo chamber!

This "Give him a chance" stuff may not be the wisdom it purports to be.
When we see politicians clearly heading in a direction we do not agree with,
we need to speak up immediately albeit mere speculation.
It is not unheard of for them to send up "trial balloons" to determine
public sentiment. Not hearing anything, they go ahead with their plans.
Sufficient negative reaction and they change their course.
This president, undisputedly has an agenda that favors big business. He has
made his disdain for regulation clear. Many regulations protect minorities
including all sorts of handicapped people. I assume that anyone who voted
for him was aware of that.
Send your message to Trump before the damage is done.
The time to call the fire department is when you smell smoke and not after
the house burns down.
