[Electronics-Talk] pdf's saying "empty document"

Sometimes I close the document and try again, and it works the second time. But, if it doesn't, I open it in Kurzweil, and Kurzweil scans it as if it were a printed page.
A lot of people don't think much when they create a PDF. Sometimes they just scan something in, and then it's just an image, with nothing for the Adobe accessibility to grab hold of.

Jaws has an OCR option built-in. It doesn't always work, but it's easy to try. To get to it, type insert-space, o, then d for document.

Subject: [Electronics-Talk] pdf's saying "empty document"

Hi,

What do I do when I get a pdf that says “alert, empty document?” I am unable to read it, using windows ten.

Thanks,

Lauren

Blessings in Jesus’ name! 

Deuteronomy 32New Living Translation (NLT)

32 “Listen, O heavens, and I will speak!

    Hear, O earth, the words that I say!

2

Let my teaching fall on you like rain;

    let my speech settle like dew.

Let my words fall like rain on tender grass,

    like gentle showers on young plants.

3

I will proclaim the name of the Lord;

    how glorious is our God!

4

He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.

    Everything he does is just and fair.

He is a faithful God who does no wrong;

    how just and upright he is!

Advice from my cats:"Meow when you feel like it."
