I'm far from expert, but I read somewhere that speakerphone on the iPhone is controlled by its distance from your mouth. Hold it close and it's a regular phone; hold it far away and it switches to speakerphone.

Somewhat recently, I started having a problem with my iPhone
6 where it would randomly go to speaker phone. I checked all of the settings, including in accessibility and VoiceOver. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
