[Electronics-Talk] Jaws sayin empty document

Hi Susan,

I've been having the same problem with jaws not performing OCR. It keeps
sayin, "OCR failed to start" I don't have a lot of patience for reinstalling
software etc. I have Kurzwell. The OCR on Kurzwell is great. It even read a
jpg of a poster.

What if one does the sequence you suggest, and it says that OCR failed to

If you have JAWS, you can do OCR on the document. 
That message means it is an image, not text.  Hit jaws key plus spacebar,
then o for ocr, then d for document.
