[Electronics-Talk] Sorry to highjack your post sorry to highjack your post but just got a bluetooth keyboard and when I tried to enter the email name it wouldn't come up and the list of possible names wouldn't come either.

There are DAISY hardware players, like the Victor Reader Stream, and software players. The NLS DA or DS players will play back audio-based DAISY books, but not text-based daisy books, like those distributed on Bookshare.org.

There are listings for DAISY players, hardware and software, on the DAISY Consortium's web site, http://www.daisy.org/tools-products-and-services

Some of the software is free, some not.

I need to know about daisy though and downloading MP3 stuff from books.

I have been told that the company is going to be going to daisy ina while and have an I phone and also an NLS digital layer but a non-working computer. So I need to know if any of these situations would be possible and if not, how much would the most basic daisy player and of course cheepest would be

Sorry again and if anyone has any idea about entering the addresses with a generic bluetooth keyboard I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jenny

If anyone on this list has tried it, how was your experience? Were the voice prompts enough to make it usable?
