Is there an advantage to using an Olympus, rather than a Victor Stream?

People have recommended Olympus -- which is good advice. You could also use
a Victor Reader Stream or other DTB device, depending on your needs and
requirements.

I haven't used one in years so didn't know if there was an accessible
digital recorder that is fairly new on the market... Any suggestions would
be great. Thanks. Looking to recommend one for a student so thought I would
post here... thanks for your help.
