Siri isn't a requirement to use the 4th generation Apple TV, neither is
using Alexa on the Amazon Fire Stick/Fire TV.
As a matter of fact you need to allow them. The Amazon Echo products is
a different story as they are speakers and it is assumed you want to
talk to them. However you can turn off the always listening feature.
The assistants only listen for their trigger word, when they hear it
that is when they start listening to you.
Personally I'm all in on the voice assistance.
When you can tell Alexa on the Fire products to play (movie) on Netflix
and it loads that movie for you it is just a convenience.
The speech recognition on Alexa and Google assistant is quite good,
perfect, no.
Just my thoughts.
