Sorry. I realize you are offering the very best kind of help, and really
appreciate your offer, but I really will be swamped for all the time until
just after new year's day, so am not available until after New Year's. Is
that file on their website a .txt file, or a .brf file?
Louis

Hi Louis.
The online Orbit user guide is at
https://tech.aph.org/or20/

Have a look. You can skip around to the sections you need.
If you and Carol are still having problems by, say, New Year's Day, maybe we
can have a phone call, though I don't know how to call 2 people at once.
After Tuesday, I'm back at work, and not so free.
Tracy

Oh, My! I just got mine about a week ago, and am having the problems you are
describing. They really need to include more basic information, as, for
example, how to create a file; how to close a file, as well as how to save,
and not save, changes. I want text files, not .brf files, so I can listen to
the file on my computer while I actually try to work on a file.

I really need all kinds of help with my Orbit. Firstly, I couldn't get it to
read the information to use it so I haven't a clue how to begin writing with
it. I did notice from the lines that I was reading that as I went down with
the arrow, it would start a new line rather than continuing the
sentence/address for which there was no room on the line. I am wondering if
that is always the case. I have wanted this to put in songs for the choir
and would have to be able to read the lines continuously for the particular
fraise/line. I suppose I could do it just by putting the lines in one after
the other without regard to created line changing but right now don't even
know how to do that, how to correct mistakes, insert material or anything. I
tried the website with no luck that I could discern. I would appreciate
help. I can be contacted at 904-292-2871 home phone or cell 904-553-8138. I
am probably not making myself clear and perhaps a call would be the best way
or we could perhaps do it by E mail in which case my address is:
cfeazell at Comcast.net. Sorry about the way I wrote that but for some
reason, my email will not let me use the at sign.

Respectfully and apologetically for my ignorance I am,

Carol Feazell
