Just getting to email so I’m sorry if this is already been asked.

What is the model number, and, is it specifically the cake up tight brewery?

>> Pam, I would do the same thing you're doing, giving your coffee maker a good cleaning and it should be just fine. I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to do that first before getting rid of the machine, at least it would be good to give a good try as far as giving it a good cleaning. As for the why, Mary and Peter most likely would feel better and would rather start out in their new home with a new coffee maker, and to have something new for their new apartment, having peace of mind that the new coffee maker is completely clean. Pam, I've noticed in writing and sharing information on the list and searching for accessible items, Mary and Peter are really into making use of the accessible apps with the iphone to work different machines, whether it be some sort of cooking pot, coffee maker, security home systems and other products, that in some cases wouldn't be very accessible with out the iphone. Mary, and Peter, it's great that you do make it a priorty to find items and systems that you can have the option of working with your phones, after all the accessibility is right there in the app. in some cases it could be the difference of not using something or because of the iphone, if that's what makes that thing accessible, that is really a wonderful thing, and you both don't shy away from that, you make use of what you can do in having something accessible for you and making full use of your phone to the ultimate, giving you all kinds of access. Of course not everyone has smart phones, but if one has one, and through the many apps if one explores all the access it can give them to do a number of things, including working something that otherwise might not be accessible, I think it's great. Down the road a bit, when I have more experience with my phone, I'll probably want to explore different possibilities as well, knowing me. I'm no where near that yet, I've got a whole lot to learn, but I'm happy for mary, Peter and everyone else that are able to do that. I do have a question, and I don't know if anyone knows about the keurig plus coffee maker. Our friend has the keurig plus. He was thinking possibly it talked when he was showing it to us at walmart. Later when he was at home he explored the menues on his machine and found out it didn't talk. Anyway speaking of apps does anyone know if there's an app for the keurig plus? We really liked that machine a whole lot too. Mary, Peter and anyone else looking for a new coffee maker I hope you all fine exactly what you're looking for. It was something, with all of the informative information from this thread about the keurig, and some listers answering some questions for me, when we went to walmart saturday night, we didn't exactly have in mind to buy the keurig. We were just going to get a few extra mr. coffee pots which we did get anyway, since we always want to have an extra pot. Then our friend spotted that same Keurig that he has, and we told him about this thread on the list about the keurig and we started looking at them. Pam, I'm quite sure we have the same Keurig you have from the way you described yours. It's wonderful, while it's a bit expensive, you can't beat a fresh cup of coffee each time, with coffee never getting wasted because it got to old. Though everyone has their prefferences, and from time to time, we'll still use our mr. coffee pot.

That's what I'm going to have to do when I move. Yes, there are a few things that are terribly dirty and full of roaches and roach eggs that I have thrown out, but I don't think I will do that with my coffeemaker or toaster oven. The second question I was wondering is: why does she need one that she can control with her iPhone? Why not just a regular one? Pam.
