Yeah.  Sometimes Internet Explorer opens Adobe in another window, and you
have to alt-tab to it, then, often, switch to the Jaws key and look around
for the start dialog.

What I was doing was trying to open the pdf in Internet Explorer when I
needed to download it and read it with Adobe Acrobat DC.

Yeah, I've found that, too.  If it doesn't come up, I think you can go to
settings and find it.
Sometimes, when the dialog doesn't come up, I route Jaws to PC and look
around, and the dialog is there but not automatically speaking.  So I use
the Jaws mouse click to check the fields and click the start button.

When I start Adobe, I get some choices before it processes the document.
One of the choices is to read the whole document.  Do you have that set?
