Hi,
I just went to the link and Amazon says it is only $14 and there are only 14 left. I think I'll get one too. I had a digital talking thermometer, but the battery died a long time ago. Just haven't needed one. This one sounds like a great deal. I will just keep the batteries out of it until I need it. Hope that's okay. Thanks for the info.

Thanks Gerald. That sounds just
the ticket.

I recommend the HealthSmart DigiScan infrared
talking forehead/ear
thermometer, which is
available on Amazon.com for about $28, but may be
cheaper elsewhere. It is pretty accurate,is
easy to use, and best of all,
runs on two
easily replaceable AAA batteries, unlike the crapola sold by
the
blindness products
merchants which run on sealed button cell batteries which
are impossible to replace and
always seem to die when you most need to take
your temperature. It can also announce the
time and room temperature, and
has clear
speech:

I am not sick much, so, when I want a
thermometer, the batteries are usually
dead.
Can
anyone recommend a talking thermometer that is accurate, and
where I can
buy the battery at the drugstore
and change it myself? Or even a USB
thermometer?
Thanks.
Tracy
