[Electronics-Talk] bluetooth ear buds

I find the Aftershocks trex titanium bone conductor headset a better deal
for using with a cellphone and the Victor Trek when I want to use the GPS.
Nothing goes in the ears at any time. Pam.

I agree completely with Santi but use an iPhone. I would like them for
walking using a GPS but I always fear one will fall out. They don't that
easily, but easily enough and they could be hard to find outside.
Plantronics makes one called Backbeat Fit that gets high ratings as one to
wear for running. They sound comparable, I think, to the Air Pods but they
do not have varied sizes. They really do not need that given the way they
are constructed. My only complaint with them is that Plantronics has an app
with them that I find hard to keep up to date, and if I let them charge
down, don't use them for a while, they seek updating and this also means
pairing again, which I find a bit harder than need be. Otherwise, I'd
definitely put them into the mix as they are also less costly than the Air
Pods.

Hi Drew,

I have a pear of AirPods, and they don’t have a physical volume control in
the earbuds. I use them on an Android device. However, you can change the
volume using siri when using them with IOS.

The AirPods do not block outside sounds, so I am not sure if that is a
feature that you are looking for.

They are very comfortable. If the standard Apple earbuds fit you well, the
AirPods are the same.

Sound quality wise, they are okay, but nothing extraordinary.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
Santi
