Hi all,

So, we're trying to decide about how to best upgrade our current system. We have a tablet hooked up to an HDTV. The picture is fine, but no smart features. Having it hooked means the tablet isn't as protable, so we want to get something for the t.v. and free the tablet up for use around the house, etc.  We also have a bose sound system hooked up to the t.v.

We were looking at alexa but the one package has it's own sound system, and wouldn't be compatable with the bose.

We want to know if we get the fire stick will it work with the bose, and will the firestick add the smart features to the t.v. = would this be like getting a fire t.v. or is the fire stick more limited. Also, do you need to get the alexa remote to use a fire stick? And is that a separately sold item?
