I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active from AT&T. I got it because I liked
the form factor, and I liked the idea of getting voice Assistant,
Samsung's screen reader, in addition to Talk Back from Google. I've
found having multiple screen readers on Windows and Linux to be a life
saver at times, and I feel the same way about Android. You also get the
option of using some of Samsung's other apps, like their launcher.
The downsides to Samsung are that it takes a while to get major updates
of Android. This isn't a big deal for me, since I don't find it unusable
and I don't need to be the first to get a new update. Samsung isn't
stock Android, and some have an issue with that, but I don't understand
that whole reasoning, so others will have to talk to why having stock
Android is so important.
