HI Sherry, I have an Amazon Fire TV box, and AT&T has a streaming service
called Direktv Now. The app works with Fire TV, and you subscribe to a
specific package of channels, much like cable although not nearly as
expensive. I have the basic package which is about $25 per month, and  it
comes with the news channels you are interested in including CNN,and
MS-NBC. The app is fairly accessible. I discovered that if you download the
various news channel apps from the app store, most want you to sign in with
your tv provider in order to start watching.Hope this helps.
