Chris:

Here are the steps to install the app and pair the doorbell  I am not sure 
that everything is accessible, as I had my nephew do it, but I think it is.

Step 2  Install App

At this point, you are ready to install the app on your mobile device.  The 
Ring Video Doorbell will work on both Android and iOS.  Go to the app store 
and search for Ring and install it.  Once the app is installed, create an 
account.

Step 3  Setup Device and Configure App

Now you are ready to set up a new device and configure the app.  You will 
need to tap on Set Up Device, select Doorbells, and then select Ring 
Doorbell 2.Then you can name the location in which you are installing the 
doorbell and can specify the specific address in which the doorbell will be 
installed.  The reason for specifying the address is to include certain 
features such as notifications from your neighborhood from other Ring users 
that have shared suspicious activity.

Now you can press the setup button on the top right corner of the doorbell.

After doing so the light around the front button starts spinning and you can 
tap continue on the app.  After a few moments, the ring app states that it 
is connecting to the doorbell.  You must then select a Wi-fi network that 
you would like the Ring Video Doorbell to connect to and enter the wi-fi 
password.  You should then get a message stating that it has been connected 
and that setup is complete.

Optional App Configuration

Setup options include granting friends or family members to access the Ring 
Video Doorbell so they can answer notifications or see live views of the 
camera.

Step 4  How to Use the App

When you launch the app this is the screen you will see.  This will show you 
any recent activity that your doorbell has seen.  This included rings, 
motion, and live views.  Tap on any of them to see the recorded footage of 
that activity.

When you tap on the icon for your doorbell you will come to a configuration 
screen.  Here is where you will see the battery strength, and where you will 
be able to turn on/off ring and motion alerts.  This is also where you will 
be able to get to advanced features such as setting motion sensitivity and 
changing alert tones.

Important – Live View is not enabled by default.  To enable it you must tap 
on Live View Settings and then click the slider to enable it.  However, this 
will shorten battery life if you are not hardwiring the Ring Video Doorbell 
to existing doorbell wiring.  Now at any time, you can tap on the Live View 
bar for a live view of your camera.
