[Electronics-Talk] Wifi extender

I'm thinking of buying a wifi extender/repeater.  My router is in a place
where the signal doesn't reach the backyard very well.  

Are wifi extenders easy to set up without sighted help?  Is there a model
that's easier than some others?  

I have some basic tech skills with networking devices, but I'm not an
expert, and I don't want to be.
