[Electronics-Talk] Talking Bloodpressure Monitors

Hello everyone,

If someone comes across talking bloodpressure monitors that are both
accurate and can be used on the upper arm or wrist we want to know about
them. Some of the medical facilities we use use the wrist model and I know
for a fact they're not always accurate. If they take my bloodpressure on my
upper arm it usually runs around 160/72 but if done on the wrist they've
gotten readings of something like 190/100 making me feel like I should make
a B-Line to the ER when it's the accuracy of the bloodpressure monitor
that's at fault. If they gbet a reading like 190/100 and I'm feeling like
it's around 160/72 it's proof positive that those guys would do well to
upgrade their blood pressure monitors or wrisk making medical mistakes
resulting in law sutes against the facility.

I'll second the importance of having bloodpressure and other medical
devices that give accurate readings and that are accessible to the blind to
be job one.

We bought a talking blood pressure monitor from Amazon, but it was very
inaccurate. I don't remember the model, but it was designed to be used on
the wrist instead of the upper arm. Don't get that one.
