[Electronics-Talk] Samsung tv with voice guide

I did get my sighted nephew to set up my TV for me. But I also bought a surround sound system at the time, and he got the whole thing put together and set up for me. Also, the voice guide had to be turned on. But it's easy to use and most of the apps I've tried have worked great. The only one that didn't, which was terribly disappointing was amazon music. But their music apps aren't accessible anyway, so I guess it's no surprise the TV app isn't either.

Hello,
I have a Samsung 32 inch TV, that has Voice Guide built-in. It’s extremely accessible, and so far every app that I’ve use on it has been very accessible.

My question is, before I make this investment, are there pros and cons to setting up voice guide? Did you need sighted assistance? I'll probably use something like aira if I need to do this but I am curious about the process... Which models are being used by you all? Where can I go to read more about the blind aspect of using one of these tvs? So many questions. I'm hoping to find one on sale during Black Friday or Cyber Monday... Looking forward to your replies...
